Adding Air to Your Tires

The little light that comes on in your car that looks like an exclamation mark is letting you know that the pressure in at least one of your tires is lower than normal. This doesn't mean that you have a flat tire. The light could come on because it's colder outside.

Your tire pressure light could come on because of a malfunction in the sensor or because the sensor itself is not operating properly. You can visit Bob Utter Kia to have someone examine the sensor to see if it's still working. Sometimes, you can have the sensor disabled, but you would need to monitor your tire pressure visually to ensure there's nothing wrong with them.

If you notice the light staying on, then it usually means that you need to put more air in one tire or all of your tires. Once you begin driving again, the light should go off.
